Amazing mansion on western outskirts of Bathurst. A family home, not.at all like a museum.

Historical place, but with poor management and not maintaining the property properly, it looks dilapidated whereas they charge a hefty entree free, feel like being ripped off. It does not worth visiting there.

Knowledgeable staff. Chock full of history of the house and surrounding area.

Beautiful old world charm. I was taken aback by the beauty & my imagination ran wild. I would have loved to have had a guide to take me through the house as i did the self guild tour. Thoroughly recommended as are the grounds and antique shop at the back of the house.

What a picturesque piece of Australian history. The house and grounds are amazing. Definately worth a visit. Call them up and enquire about a weekend tour. Well worthwhile.
